Why Center Tactical exists

Run a firearms retail business and you encounter a problem the rest of SaaS never considers: every transaction has a regulatory dimension. Federal age gates. ATF bound-book entries. State magazine caps. Reciprocity rules for transport. Form 4473 retention. Multiple-handgun-sale reporting thresholds. The compliance surface is large and the penalties for getting it wrong are real.

Mainstream commerce platforms drop firearms merchants without warning. The platforms that don't are stitched together — POS from one vendor, range scheduling from another, FFL inventory from a third, accounting bridged with paper and luck. Compliance becomes a spreadsheet maintained between shifts.

Center Tactical is one platform that models all of it: retail, training, range, memberships, communications, back-office, and compliance — first-class. The compliance engine isn't an add-on; it's the spine.

Who we are

We're a small team — a range operator with a deep firearms-industry background, and a software engineer with two decades of building business software. We serve this industry only.

Virginia Tactical Shooting Academy (VTSA) is the range we run ourselves. Center Tactical handles the shop, the range, and the training side of VTSA every day. Every feature you see on this site is in daily use at our own counter before it ever ships to yours.
